Set at an elevation of 1,400 feet, The Highlands Estate overlooks the majestic hills and vineyards of the Yorkville Highlands Valley. From nearly every vantage point, miles of unobstructed views stretch across the beautiful rural countryside.
Magnificent private gates provide entry from the northern portion of the property, directly off CA-128. All aspects of the venue are set back from the roadway by nearly 1,000 feet, providing an immersive experience with the natural surroundings.
Situated on the southwestern portion of the property is the Farmhouse-styled Victorian Estate, included with Highlands Overnight and Highlands Weekend, providing lodging accommodations for up to twenty-two guests. What has now become an iconic point of the property is an old-growth oak tree surrounded by the upper Syrah vineyard that overlooks the Estate and valleys beyond.
The Four Seasons Barn ceremony location, with a capacity of 200 guests, complete with arbor. Northerly facing and shaded by old-growth oak trees from the afternoon sun, guests enjoy seeing the couple framed by the arbor and set against breathtaking, unobstructed views of vineyards and hills beyond.
The ceremony area is surrounded by hidden rock-speakers ensuring all guests can hear clearly without visible equipment. Hidden microphones capture the voices of the couple and officiant, delivering sound to all guests without cumbersome handheld microphones.
Walking up the grand steps to the Terrace and overlooking the ceremony site, an entirely different vista is presented looking out to the hills and mountains to the East. With market lights in place and additional speakers, the Terrace is a magical location for dining under the stars, cocktail hour, or catching up with family around the included fire pit. The expansive space — over 4,500 sq feet — easily accommodates unique attractions.
The Four Seasons Barn is entered directly from the Terrace through ornate massive eight-foot-tall doors. Six dimmable wagon-wheel chandeliers with fairy-lights set high above create a romantic and warm atmosphere. Fully climate controlled, guests will be comfortable regardless of the temperature outside.
On the Estate side of the property and surrounded by Syrah vines of the upper vineyard, the Oak Tree may be used for ceremonies of up to 125 guests. It offers expansive views of the Estate, vineyards, hills and mountains to the east — a wonderful location for couples wishing to be surrounded by vineyards and shaded by an old-growth oak tree.
